From now on there is free drinking water without plastic bottles at Drop In Surfcamp
With the (unfortunately) bad experiences of recent years, we have now finally decided to declare war on the masses of plastic waste! In particular, we will now minimize the consumption of disposable plastic bottles, which can be bought in southern Europe without a deposit! Year after year, several hundreds of millions of them are produced. And these PET bottles take almost 500 years to decompose.
Therefore, from now on, we have installed a new water treatment system from the market leader Carbonit for the tap water in all our houses. This is only necessary for the reduction of the slightly increased chlorine content, as the tap water in Portugal is otherwise free of pollutants. So from now on you can tap your pure delicious drinking water around the clock without having to touch a plastic bottle!
For filling, bring your own water bottle or you can purchase one of our sustainably produced drop in water bottles right at camp. So from now on you are always supplied with fresh water!
